I think children’s literature is so much more beautiful than anything written for adults. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve read Holes and The Giver and Frindle and all my Roald Dahl stuff. And ohhhhh Wayside Stories, which isn’t really beautiful but is a joy to read all on its own.
